PO
BOX When the wrong package is accidentally delivered to his PO box, a young man is unwittingly dragged into the seedy underworld of the mob in this dark comedy about greed and mistaken identity. A SLEAZY MAN (Ian Jones) runs an adult novelty mail order business from his post office box, much to the displeasure of a neighboring WOMAN (Lynda Rohrbacher) who does not approve of his activities. When the man finds a small package in his box, he assumes that it is a product return. In his apartment / warehouse, after tallying up the day’s orders, the man decides to clean off the returned item and resell it. His customers will never know the difference. But when he opens the box, he is horrified to find that it instead contains a severed finger still wearing a men’s diamond ring and a ransom-style warning note – YOU’RE NEXT. Checking the box for a return address to see where the gruesome delivery originated, the man is relieved to see that it was actually intended for the box next to his. The post office made a mistake. But rather than turn the finger in to the authorities, he instead decides to steal the valuable diamond ring. Raiding his stash of adult products and sex toys, he pulls on a pair of heavy duty gloves and tries to remove the ring from the finger. It’s stuck. A little sex lube fixes that problem and before you know it, he is the proud owner of one slightly used diamond ring. The remains of the previous owner are unceremoniously tossed in the trash. The next day, now sporting his new ring, the man returns to his post office box to check on his orders. He is confronted by a menacing THUG (William “The Messiah” Welch), who asks him if he “got the message.” The man blows off the thug, claiming that he has him confused with someone else. The thug points to the ring as evidence that the man is a member of a rival gang. Too late, the man realizes the nature of his mistake. He tries to escape, but meets with the same fate as the former owner of the ring.
